I’m a mom –
My family travels a lot and we love going on hiking trips. Unfortunately, on the last trip we took, I had my phone in a clear waterproof pouch for my phone. I thought all was well, but when I dropped my phone in the water accidentally, the pouch leaked. It didn’t leak during the test at home, but apparently, something happened to compromise the seal. I repaired my phone myself, but of course, now that I have loosened the glue, it has lost any water resistance it may have had. I ordered this pouch because I no longer trust the clear phone pouches. When the bag arrived, I was surprised at how sturdy it was. The material is thick, and the seams appear to be sealed well, though it appears to be sealed with only a single piece of waterproof tape on the inside. There doesn’t seem to be any overlap in the material and there is no stitching and no seal on the outside, leaving a single point of failure. Considering the price point though, this is not unexpected. This past week, my family visited the La Leona waterfall in Costa Rica. To get to the waterfall, you have to swim upstream in fairly deep, rushing water. I tested the bag in the sink before we left, and – no leaks. The bag is a bit small so I packed a microfiber hand towel and my phone (that’s about all that fit). I took my phone out to take pictures at the waterfall and then tucked it back in after I was done. One thing I really liked was how easy it was to close. You simply fold it down three times and click it closed. One thing that would have been nice would be a strap to wear around your waist or over your shoulder. It does have a very sturdy clip on the side that I felt would probably hold really well, but because I didn’t have anything to clip it to, I attached it to a lanyard. Because it’s small, that worked well enough. When we returned from the hike, I was happy to see that not only was the phone perfectly dry, but so was my microfiber towel. The extra bag that comes with it, labeled as a “diaper bag”, was perfect for my wet clothes after I changed. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality. This rivals many of the more expensive dry bags but at a fraction of the price. My only concern is the seam, so I will be sure to test it each time I use it.

This bag is extremely helpful to keep items that you take to the pool dry, and then when you have wet swimsuits or sandles, this bag helps to contain them. It can be easily turned inside out to dry and not get a bad smell from being wet, and the additional dry sack is excellent to put wet items into, and also works great to carry cold drinks in it with a reusable freezer pack. They’re both very easy to carry and convenient!

This is exactly as advertised. I got it for my son for his wet swimsuits on our vacations and it works great! It is a good size too. Can fit a few wet swimsuits in it if needed.

This Waterproof Dry Bag also comes with a wet diaper or wet clothes bag. Yeah, I know it’s a unique combination. The dry bag is the roll-top closure type with clip. The only problem is that once you fold and roll the top a couple of times to seal the bag, that makes the bag way smaller. You can’t fit much in this bag. It’s good for small items like your phone, keys, earbuds, snacks, etc. The usable space is around 7 inches in height and 4-1/4 inches in diameter. Not much room for a lot of items. It’s labeled as 2 Liters, but maybe that is when it’s not folded closed. It’s good that it floats and the strap adjusts from 24 inches to 42 inches in length. The colors look nice. I will update any changes in the future.
